Eddington-inspired Born-Infeld gravity is an important modification of Einstein's general relativity, which can give rise to non-singular cosmologies at the classical level, and avoid end-stage singularity in a gravitational collapse process. In Newtonian limit, this theory gives modified Poisson's equation, as consequence stellar observables acquire model dependent corrections, compared ones computed low energy limit relativity. This turn be used establish astrophysical constraints on theory. Here, we obtain such constraint using observational data from cataclysmic variable binaries. particular, consider tidal disruption secondary star by white dwarf primary. The Roche lobe filling condition compute numerical scheme.
